This cheesy bean dip is a delicious appetizer that is sure to be a hit at your next party. Just serve it with tortilla chips and you’re ready to go.
There’s nothing like a good chip dip with cream cheese. Speaking from my own experience, it’s one of the appetizers that I get most excited to see at a party or meal of some kind. There’s truly nothing like a bowl full of dairy products 😂. This cheesy bean dip recipe is so simple, and if you can fry chopped-up bacon, you’ll have no trouble at all with this recipe.
If you’re looking for a great cheddar bacon dip, you should definitely try this recipe. Not only does it have kidney beans, black beans, and corn, but it also has plenty of cheddar cheese and bacon to satisfy all your bacon needs 🤤.
I recommend serving this cream cheese chip dip with tortilla chips. You could also serve the dip with salsa or other toppings like chopped tomatoes, lettuce, onion, or even extra cheese. It’s definitely enough to serve it as it is, though.

Ingredients for Cheesy Bean Dip
- Cream cheese- This is the base of the dip that makes it so creamy.
- Sour cream- This adds a lot of wonderful tang to the dip.
- Cheddar cheese- You really can’t go wrong with this incredibly versatile, orange gooeyness.
- Bacon- Crispy bits of bacon add so much flavor to this bacon and cheese dip.
- Kidney beans- Of course, a bean dip needs some beans, and kidney beans are the best beans, so obviously they had to be in here.
- Black beans- A little variety never hurt anybody, though.
- Corn- I like the hint of sweetness that corn adds to the recipe.
- Spices- I used cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, and oregano in this dip.
How to Make Cheesy Bean Dip
Step 1
Beat the cream cheese in a mixing bowl for a few seconds. Add the sour cream and beat until the two have combined and are smooth. Stir in half of the shredded cheddar cheese.
Step 2
Fry the pieces of bacon in a pan until they’re crispy. Stir the bacon into the mixture along with the beans and corn. After they’re incorporated, add in the cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, and oregano. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 3
Smooth out the mixture into a 9 in. pie pan. It should come right up to the top of the pan. Add the remaining cheese to the top of the dip. Bake the dip for about 20 minutes at 350°F or until it’s hot and bubbly. Let it cool for just a few minutes before diving in.
